Chapter 1

Breezing inside the casino he looked every inch the professional. His debonair black dinner suit complimented his masculine curves in every way, his ruffled hair called out to be tamed by the hand of a woman.
Confidently he stepped further into his new playground taking in every bit of his surroudings. Slot machines already being abused for a few pieces of change. Smoke filled the air mixing with the dank stench of ambition and prayer. Waitresses milled around the room serving cocktails in celebration and commiseration of players' windfalls and crash landings. He slid a glass off the tray of a passing brunette.
Yes.
He was ready.

She watched the floor from above, safe behind the glass windows of the office.
His presence was felt as soon as he had entered and she was mesmerised. A manicured hand reached for the intercom.
"What is his name?"
"Feehily ma'am. A Markus Feehily."
"I've heard that name before,"
"He's the most successful gambler Las Vegas has ever seen,"
"Make sure he's comfortable, I want my new guest to feel at home. Let him know that if he needs anything he just has to ask."
"Yes ma'am."

Watching as her employee made his way over to the main roulette table she sat back in her ample leather chair admiring the view.
Looking down she saw the two men talking, a slight gesture towards the office saw the man glance upwards, catching her eye and raising his cocktail glass in acknowledgement of her offer.

~~~x~~~
Observing the players as she descended the stairs, her newest charge came into her view. She took a large cocktail from a passing tray and stood behind him as he prepared to roll the night's virgin dice.
Feeling her presence he turned his head to his left, the corner of his eye caught her licking her finger and tracing it round the rim of her glass slowly and seductively. The faint sound of the glass pierced through to his soul. Shivering he looked back to the table and tossed the dice.
The chips were pushed towards him and she knew he was a force to be reckoned with.
"Congratulations Mr Feehily," She murmured in his ear. Noting his raised eyebrow she continued, "I make it my business to know the players in my casino. Your every wish shall be catered to. Nicky, the dice." The blonde haired croupier pushed the dice across the table with his paddle into Feehily's waiting hands.
